Three decades of game production and leadership experience across computer, console and free-to-play mobile. At Electronic Arts and Bullfrog, I experienced the highs and lows of blockbuster game development before co-founding Relentless where we created the PlayStation game Buzz!, a franchise which generated around $500M at retail. Along with talented co-founders, I built a free-to-play mobile studio which was acquired by Stockholm-based MAG Interactive, responsible for heavyweight word and quiz games including Ruzzle, WordBrain and Quiz Duel. Now building genre-defining Blockchain games.

Co-FounderRelentless Software Oct 2003 - Oct 2013Relentless was the opportunity to put years of production and industry experience into a studio of my own. We created an environment that led to a great working relationship with Sony, with whom we created the BAFTA winning, multi-million selling Buzz! franchise. Our breakthrough moment was when we stopped making games for gamers and learned how to make games for everyone, which is something that has heavily influenced every product I’ve been part of since. In ten years, the company developed from a fledgling business of 15 people to an organisation with 120 employees. After creating over 150 SKUs for Sony we went on to work on key titles with Microsoft before creating and self-publishing Murder Files, which became an iPad #1.

Studio ManagerComputer Artworks Sep 2001 - Oct 2003A learning experience. Handed a second rate contract with a third rate publisher, I established a new studio for Computer Artworks. After the relative comfort of Electronic Arts, Computer Artworks taught me how to deliver software with my back against the wall.

ProducerElectronic Arts Jun 1994 - Sep 2001Redwood City, Ca, UsIn the videogame industry in 1994 there were few better places to work than Electronic Arts. A publishing powerhouse, we championed the videogame developer as an artist and created some truly inspiring software. I learned the economics of the industry and taught myself how to build a team to get results. As external development relations manager, I visited over 100 developers across Europe. When EA merged with Bullfrog I was lucky enough to work with some of the best talent in the industry. Being part of the Dungeon Keeper 2 team will remain a career highlight. -
Assistant ProducerMindscape Sep 1990 - Jun 1994Amstelveen, NlMindscape was a small publisher, handling some truly great games. Joining in a junior role, I soon moved into production. In a triumph of enthusiasm over ignorance I blew NES EPROMS of Paperboy, talked customers through running Wing Commander in base memory, playtested Magic Pockets and took sales calls for Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. 40 games over 12 platforms. Halcyon days.
