Morgan Olson produces its products to customer specifications and provides products to customers in the parcel, food, vending and uniform and linen industries. Senior member of the executive leadership team involved with the development and implementation of strategies across the organization. Responsible for coordinating day-to-day engineering functions including R & D, special customer requested designs, BOM, manufacturing, tooling, electrical, floor support problem solving, forecasting & budget development, and strategic planning. Operated closely with functional leaders to ensure company objectives and policies were being attained.

Accuride Corporation is one of the largest manufacturers of steel and aluminum commercial vehicle wheels and wheel-end components and is a subsidiary of Gunite Corporation in Elkhart, IN. I was responsible for the machining of the casting components and to lead a team in the closure of the Gunite plant, transfer and start-up the brake drums, hub and rotor machining operation in the Gunite, Rockford, IL facility. This included developing outsourced suppliers to take 60% of the product line which was successfully accomplished on-time and within budget. My responsibilities have continued in the support of Rockford facility with development of their key supplier’s.

Overall responsibility for developing new and existing Seating Business in North and South America, primarily targeting GM and Chrysler.* GM Brazil - Technical support as a resident engineer on site, interfacing with the customer on the development of the 31UX Program. * Persuade addition new business quotation of the PM7 and GMI 700 Programs.* Chrysler - Managed an engineering team to develop design concept for "D Platform Design Competition". Achieving solid plans and the development of customer specified solution was the keys to success.

Supervising engineers to support current production and future development of seating program. Position focused on ensuring execution of program and optimizing engineering direction to meet manufacturing, engineering, and customer objectives. Working directly with the customer, and program manager to assure program targets were achieved.

Responsibility to successfully manage Honda's business unit, programs included the 1998 Odyssey and 2001 SUV vehicles. This required the establishment of an international team of engineers in Japan and France for each specific program and led all assigned to meet budgets and timing of new product launch. This also included managing selling price and margin maintenance, cost reduction through direct participation. Maintain > 18% IRR average for all projects and successfulness was measured by always meeting important milestones within budget, and with the expected profit level.
