Project Officer
CurrentUnder the direction of the Keeyask Business Department Manager, I am responsible for managing key issues and developing and implementing initiatives to support Gen Ops new construction projects.• Prepare briefing materials, letters, recommendations, or discussion papers for the Executive and/or Government as required, including undertaking any required associated analysis or research.• Prepare project reporting material for senior management, staff, and external parties.• Routinely handle material of a confidential nature.• Lead cross functional teams as required to support the new construction projects.• Participate as a specialist providing advice on various matters to other project stakeholders including engineers and managers.• Assess complex, multi faceted situations and provide liaison with key advisors and stakeholders and provide plans and overall direction based on these inputs.• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for maintaining and enhancing project support services provided to the other divisions.• Provide technical advice and support to the on boarding (project orientation) initiative and the IRP process. • Coordinate the responses to FIPPA inquiries and liaise with other Divisions and business units to ensure that deadlines are met and information provided in accordance with the legislation.
