The purpose of art is two fold: to create a pleasing aesthetic, but also to spark conversation amongst people. The latter is especially important with patrons in this age of instagram and similar social media.My art tends to be a blend of fine art and illustration which is commissioned by both private and commercial clients. Primarily interior walls and large canvases, however, I do tackle exterior walls, windows, bathroom doors, basketball courts, autos - and generally anything the client can think of.

Responsible for 'Creating Comics' series. A series that integrates art and Islamic education (ie, salat, Wudu), to give students a dynamic, engaging and fun learning experience.Program is taught at various institutions and events including:Olive Grove Elementary and Middle School, Sayeda Khadijah Center, Understanding Islam Academy, Maple Grove Elementary, ISNA, Muslimfest and Reviving the Islamic Spirit.

Responsible for a variety of creative tasks including:- writing, directing, animating and editing cartoons for clients- writing, designing and illustrating self-published books- illustrating and designing publications and poster for clients- soliciting potential clients in order to sell books Highlights:Have worked with high profile clients including Dr. Hamid Slimi of the Sayeda Khadija Centre.Worked for a variety of publishers including: Compass Books, Siraj Publications & Arcane InkdustriesHave sold over 5000 copies of 'Journey', a self-published comicBeen a guest at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con (part ofSuper Salaam - a panel on religion and comics)
