As a Facilities III, I am responsible for the smooth operation of all production equipment in the DC. My prior position of Facilities Lead was eliminated throughout the company during a leadership restructuring. Facilities III is the highest rating of technician at the Distribution Center level of SanMar. I am the most trained, experienced, and knowledgeable technician on the DC6 Facilities team.As a Facilities III, I am responsible for:* Coordinating the Facilities Team on projects, equipment repairs, building repairs.* Conducting troubleshooting and diagnostics on a large variety of equipment including conveyors, PLC, VFDs, IDFs, PLE.* Conducting building repairs including masonry, drywall, painting.* Coordinating with 3rd party vendors.* Parts lookup, ordering, and inventory.* Equipment and tools inventory, ordering, and maintenance.* Training the Facilities II's in repairs and tasks as required.* Conducting Preventative Maintenance programs.* Supporting the Operations team.* Conducting emergency repairs and correcting equipment failures.* Conducting and coordinating periodic inspections on a large variety of equipment, building features, etc.* Maintaining a safe work environment, observing all OSHA regulations, and using/providing proper PPE for myself and team members.* Electrical repairs.* Plumbing Repairs.* Air compressor maintenance.* Fencing Repairs.
