CurrentDesign and build new processing plant to exploit intellectual property developed to produce silicon based plant nutrients. Inventor of the "MaxSil" nutrient products. Design and implement marketing plans including licence agreements into countries where patent has been granted and implement marketing agreements for Australia.Develop submissions to Commercialisation Australia which led to competitive funding of over $380,000 being awarded to develop future trials with the MaxSil product during 2013-2014.Responsible for a number of successful trials with the product across a range of crops including potato, sugar cane, sweet corn, onions, poppy, rice and cotton. Some of the major crop trials such as sugar cane trialed on over 150 ha in areas from Maryborough to Tully in Queensland have demonstrated cost effective yield increases in excess of 5 tonnes per hectare and vegetable crops such as potato have shown a net benefit of over $2,000 a hectare.Trials completed during 2018 included more plant and ratoon cane which again showed outstanding results. Third party trials with tomato, spinach and capsicum showed a net benefit of over $3,000 per hectare.We are now proceeding with the build of a new production facility (to be complete by mid 2021) for product destined for Australian and export markets, and are actively looking for marketing partners to take the granular and liquid products to market. We will also be continuing with some trial work, particularly around the concept of using MaxSil as a seed coat material.
