Key achievements: Further consolidation of frozen crust storage and delivery structure/schedule to retail and foodservice customers in conjunction with third party storage and transport operators in order to maximize delivery frequency, reduce lead times to customers & therefore reduce stock holding times in 3rd Party storage facilitiesThis was a very multifunctional role, which was heavily logistics orientated and my key areas of responsibility also included providing cover for the Logistics Manager as required (including during a four month leave of absence due to ill health between October 2011-January 2012)Managing, organising and co-ordinating daily trailer and backhaul requirements between operational & 3rd party sites at Salford, Deeside, Easton & Wolverhampton. Overseeing the day to day operation of the shunt requirement between production sites at Salford, Deeside and third party storage facilities at Trafford Park & Deeside. To organize, schedule and co-ordinate daily transport requirements for customers orders/deliveries with third party hauliers into - ASDA, Sainsburys, Morrisons, 3663 & foodservice customers.To liaise closely with the planning team to ensure that any problems minimize the impact on production and delivery of goods to customers. Other responsibilities included - managing chilled topped pizza stocks & coordinate picking of customer orders with warehouse supervisors & picking personnel on a daily basis. Key responsibilities included ensuring any last minute changes to scheduling or service requirements were correctly managed and arranged. Liaising where necessary with operators and drivers directly. Ensuring all coaches are correctlly cleaned, recharged with customer requirements etc before dispatch the following day. Supervised and managed three other staff; 2 runners working until 0200, 1 dispatcher working. Supervised and managed contract cleaning staff

Responsible for running St. Michael’s Travel Ministry, which is an outreach Ministry of St. Michael & All Angels Church, Newton, West Kirby - offering holidays and day excursions to members of the Parish, five other churches of various denominations and the wider community. Key areas of responsibility included – · Overall executive responsibility for the Ministry and the day-to-day management of it· Organising the Annual Tour Programme including visiting possible attractions and hotels and approving suppliers (e.g. coach companies, hotels, tourist attractions, etc.)· Promoting and marketing the Travel Ministry, Interfacing with the clergy of other churches, in order to further develop ecumenical links and also the future development of the Travel Ministry as an outreach Ministry· Acting as a Tour Manager on the holiday/outing, to oversee the smooth operation of the tour and itinerary, which means working in close liaison with the drivers· Developing and implementing various policy initiatives in conjunction with some of the other church ministries· Visiting various travel trade and related exhibitions during the year to assist me with future tour planning and itineraries
