I am currently working in the product development group.Primary responsibilities include the design and execution of experiments, data analysis and presentation of findings and recommendations in support of new product development with a particular emphasis on quality, safety and EMC compliance.As a test engineer I am also responsible for researching, creating and implementing new test processes and capabilities as well as providing mentoring and guidance for test technicians.

In this position I supported automated test equipment (ATE)for semiconductor testing at both wafer level and packaged test including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.Built and maintained custom IC characterization equipment such as test sockets and RF probe cards.Performed disposition of manufacturing failures and relayed information to and worked with test engineers, product engineers and manufacturing employees to improve yields.

GE Security manufactured a wide variety of security and life safety products. At GE I designed automated electro-mechanical test fixtures for product validation of security and life safety electronics such as Radar, PIR and smoke detectors as well as video surveillance equipment. Primarily I was focused on printed circuit board and mechanical design using software programs such as Pro-E, Or-cad and Pads.

· Preformed optical and electrical tests on subsea fiber optic telecommunication systems to ensure that systems met engineering and customer specifications. · Troubleshot fiber optic networks. ·Worked with DC powerfeeds up to 300KV.

· Preformed design evaluation testing on proto build desk jet printers including environmental, electrical and mechanical testing.· Troubleshot failed printers to determine root cause of failure and provided feedback to design team.
