I am a computer science student at Northeastern University pursuing a masters degree. While working towards my undergraduate degree in finance I found myself constantly fascinated with computer programming and math. I decided to try a computer science course my senior year of college, and immediately knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. I love the creative problem solving that coding allows, and strive to solve difficult problems everyday! My finance background gives me strong analytical tools, and combined with my unique work experience in higher education and tech gives me a unique perspective on computer science. I have gained a strong understanding of business needs, and how they relate to the consumer which allows me to develop software with both the business and consumer in mind. My financial skills also aid me in solving any problems related to accounting or finance that I encounter when writing programs. I hope to use my degree at Northeastern to work as a software engineer at a company that allows me to use my analytical and creative skills to create meaningful products.
