Thus far, the focus in my career has been in audit and assurance which in turn has enabled me to see the audit process within a variety of different industries ranging from manufacturing to investment management. The skills I’ve gained over this time as an audit practitioner, include but are not limited to: excel proficiency, team building, client facing communication, project management, and time management. On a day to day basis I am tasked to think critically and find solutions to problems. As such I am always open to finding the most efficient ways to overcome any roadblock that may present itself. Aside from the skills I’ve obtained in auditing, I've also become certified to prepare taxes as a volunteer in 2020 (VITA/TCE). I seek to improve my human capital and take on new challenges constantly.
