Since graduating with my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Weber State University, I have developed at passion for cultivating high quality standards in manufacturing. I entered my first career as a Quality Engineer for a global leader in automotive safety equipment. I have been fully immersed in driving a strong quality culture for 3+ years. I enjoy being the “quality conscience” of the plant.I bring the knowledge and skills fundamental to advancing your company in a highly competitive market, including:-Adapted training on the popular Toyota Production Systems LEAN manufacturing including 5S, continuous improvement, stop and notify, and waste reduction.-Problem solving tools such as Drill Deep (5 Why’s), diagnostic tree, and data analysis (such as Pareto charts and SPC) to implement corrective actions for internal and customer issues-Use and analysis of measurement systems and calibration, blueprint reading, GD&T, and a certification in conventional and CNC machining-Leadership experience in work related problem focus groups including global teams as well as leadership in the community
