On location and remote interpretation in hospitals, courts, and schools

o Provide on-the-spot translation to diffuse vital force-protection events;o Coordinate, Supervising the work of three other translators/interpreters,o Act as language liaison between Air Force Security Forces and host-nation authorities;o Review and analyze translated information (Arabic into English), liaison between regional officials (Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, UAE, Oman, and KSA) and US Air Force high ranking officers;o Collect information from local and regional media outlets (Newspaper, Magazines, and Internet Websites) and preparing a daily report on the current events related to the US forces in the region and the local public reactions to the daily changes in the preparation for challenges in the region;o Review/process/evaluate intelligence information from a variety of sources using creative methodologies to develop trends/patterns/profiles/estimates/studies, and tactical interdiction information as well as to solve unusual problems; o Cultural consultant and advisor for the US Security Forces and the Office of Special Investigations;o Advise the USAF personnel on “do’s and don’ts” of the local culture.o On call 24 hours as part of Quick Reaction Forces.o Translation/interpretation and collection of open news sources. Prepared a daily report listing the mostcurrent local news that might impact the security of the US Forces in the local area.o Conduct briefings/debriefings for commanders traveling in the AOR. Briefings include data oncultural, political, social, economics, and religious situations in target countries.

o Translated material for and to Arabic Language;o Prepared technical guidelines and procedures for internal use and for user organizations; o Provided briefings to top Military and intelligence officials on techniques and procedures involved in research and analysis activities; interact directly with Military communities and participate in joint efforts; o Oversaw the maintenance of complex video teleconferencing equipment valued at nearly $1million;o Supervised four satellite communication technicians;o Maintained inventories and accountability for all property;o Handled customer complaints and employees’ problems;o Researched/analyzed information to develop and publish intelligence products; o Participated in/lead inter-agency committees/making, agreements/commitments in accordance with received instructions.
