High School technology teacherSoftware TesterElectrical EngineerI am primarily looking to get back into the tech industry after teaching at the high school for a few years.After earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, I had a successful career in the tech industry. During my 15 years, I worked with many different programming languages and databases such as VB.net, Java, and Microsoft SQL. To name a few. I worked as a manufacturing engineer and had to deal with both hardware and software. I have also had several positions as a software tester. After 15 years in the field, I decided to try something different for a while, so I went back to school and got my Masters in Education. I taught both high school students and adults a variety of technical subjects. It was a very satisfying position, and I had a great deal of fun working with students. I may decide to go back to it as retirement career. I have also picked up a number skills and hobbies outside of my professional positions. I currently own and manage two rental properties in the Denver Metro area. I take care of everything from selection of tenants, working with the association, rent collection and evictions, and have learned to repair almost anything that breaks. Mountaineering has been a very serious hobby for me. I gotten to the higher levels of rock climbing and snow travel. I enjoy being outdoors and all the different weather Colorado has to offer. I have also become very experience at photography, which works in nicely with my love of the outdoors.
