In my role as a Geologist at a geothermal exploration and operation company, I’ve had the unique opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of the geothermal business. My responsibilities span across various aspects of the business, from maintaining the 3D conceptual model of the geothermal field, to assisting in diverse departmental activities that require impeccable teamwork.Key Responsibilities:*Geothermal Field Modelling: Regularly update and maintain the 3D conceptual model of the geothermal field using Leapfrog Geothermal.*Well Surveying: Operate and maintain a high-temperature probe for surveying geothermal wells.*Pressure-transient tests: Plan, execute, analyse and communicate results of pressure-transient tests performed in production and injection wells.*GIS Management: Maintain databases and prepare geographic information for various departments using diverse GIS such as QGIS and Google Earth.*H2O Isotope Monitoring: Plan, execute, analyse, update database and communicate results of quarterly H2O isotopic surveys of geothermal & freshwater wells, and local thermal springs.*Integral Management System: Assist in maintaining an Integral Management System in the plant, including procedure development, quality, risk & environmental impact matrices management, report generation and quality control.*Reservoir Engineering: Assist in reservoir engineering tasks, including production forecasts, current production and reinjection insights, reservoir decline, pressure-transient tests, and proposals for steam increase and field expansion.Skills:*Geoscientific Software Proficiency: Proficient in using a range of geoscientific software, including Leapfrog Geothermal and QGIS.*Office Suite Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, outstanding Excel and CAD drawing.*Data Management: Skilled in producing and managing data for databases, creating useful maps, geographic information, and geological conceptual models for decision-makers.

• Planned field campaigns, researched previous literature of ore descriptions, safely conducted field work, coordinated field tasks with assistants, selected sites and collected relevant samples for chemical analysis, prepared maps, reports, presentations, and communicated results to stakeholders.• Conducted more than 5 exploration campaigns in northern Mexico as an independent geologist. Proving economical ore potential for two sites that eventually became salt and fluorite zones of extraction for independent miners.
