My focus is writing architectural, structural, building envelope, interior specifications for complex public work projects. Many of my recent projects have been GCCM where the document releases have been phased. These types of projects are a very complex and complicated way of documenting, bidding and building.On a few projects, I am assisting with construction administration work. My tasks include submittal review, field reports/observations, owner/contractor negotiations and problem solving.I specialize in educational facilities including kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and university work. I have also written specifications for other public work including fire stations, libraries, city halls, community centers. Most recently I have been involved in developer driven multi-family mixed use projects.

Currently I have been working on many multi-family /mixed use projects in addition to smaller tenant improvement projects.Product research including newer methods of construction.Expert witness in construction litigation. Recently I was hired by subcontractor to review the architect's documents and submit my use my professional judgement to interpret the specifications, drawings and subcontractor agreement . The subcontractor was in a dispute with the general contractor over the scope of work which was not clear in the documents. Poorly written specification can lead to all sorts of problems for everyone involved in the project!

This is achieve through a relational database listing of the product representatives. Each representative is responsible for their own listing. This ensures that the database is as current as possible.I found that working as a specifier it could be difficult to find the contact information for a certain representative. Often a rep would leave the company, pick up a new line, change their phone number or e-mail address, etc. My website solves this problem by listing reps with current contact information.Another advantage of my website is that where ever there is a computer or smart phone, you can look up a product rep.
