David Ayento is a Chicago based home inspector. Attacking the Home Inspection industry with a Startup mentality at Homes & Order: Property Inspection Unit. Colleagues describe him as "I served as an Assistant Regional Director under David during his tenure as the Regional Director of the Central Region of Sigma Lambda Beta (Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin). One of the main challenges that David first faced as a Regional Director was to appoint five Assistant Regional Directors that could help him implement his vision for the region. David managed to appoint five Assistant Regional Directors that could work together as a team and that could complement each other with their unique set of skills. David proved that he can assemble a good team in order to achieve a common goal. When it came to appoint the Assistant Regional Directors, David placed each Assistant RD in a role that highlighted their strengths and minimized their weaknesses. This helped with the implementation of his vision for the SLB Central Region and helped the Region achieve new heights. David always kept an open mind whenever an idea was proposed by any of his Assistant Regional Directors and empowered his Assistant Regional Directors to implement their new ideas and programming that benefited the Central Region of SLB. David also managed to follow up effectively whenever he assigned a task to any of the Assistant Regional Directors. He was also able to communicate information and state expectations to our undergraduate and alumni entities in a clear and concise manner. As the expectations were clearer to the entities, some of the entities in the SLB Central Region have performed in par to the expectations and in many instances, exceeded the expectations. David was also able to innovate and upgrade regional meetings and summits in order to benefit the members of the SLB Central Region and in order to use time effectively. David's commitment to effective leadership, efficient meetings, transparency, fiscal responsibility and to SLB is what lead the SLB Central Region to new heights during his tenure as Central Regional Director. I definitely would work with David again if given the opportunity to." and "Dedicated, innovative, and influential are three words that I would use to describe David. As the Regional Director for the Central Region, David has taken things to new heights. He applies his extensive knowledge of business practices to make the everyday functions of the Regional Board of Directors and its entities more efficient and more effective.
