I was responsible for the strategic management of an Australian government business unit responsible for international capacity building assistance programs. This included strategic direction, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and the risk management framework. We assisted our counterpart agencies in South and South-East Asia and the Pacific in developing capability and capacity of government agencies and the private sector. I was also responsible for the management of relationships with key international and domestic government stakeholders across Australia.

The Director, Technical Assistance and Training (TA&T) is responsible for the oversight, management and development of the APG’s technical assistance and training programme, providing support to 41 member jurisdictions and working with 28 observor countries and organisations.

I was also responsible for the management of relationships with key international and domestic government stakeholders across Australia.

Accountability for external education of reporting entities to Australia's AML/CFT legislation and the associated responsibilities. This included developing a strategy for external education which included e-learning, onsite presentations and customised approaches for the diverse industries who were impacted on by this legislation.Led a team who provided internal learning to the organisation - this included leadership development, technical development, online learning, coaching and mentoring.

Provided consulting and leadership development services to leaders at all levels of an organisation. Worked in Australia, across Asia and the USA.

Led the national learning and development team in developing the capabilities of staff across the organisation. This team were involved in the end-to-end learning function.
