I am a freelancer in the aviation and technology fields. As a FAA certificated Ground Instructor have taught several sessions of Private Pilot Ground School primarily for Flying Panthers Flight School. I have performed the duties of an aerial imaging equipment operator for NovaSol (now part of Corning, Inc). I have also worked as an assistant technician for maintaining the aircraft for Flying Panthers Flight School. Once I obtained FAA certification as a Mechanic I have been in charge of maintenance for one of the aircraft at Flying Panthers Flight School and handling parts orders and inventory. With my technology background I also maintain the web presence for Flying Panthers Flight School and have been providing background IT support for a few other clients.

Member of the Operating Systems Engineering team with primary focus on integration of SUSELinux Enterprise Server as the operating system in Teradata database systems. Development tasks include analyzing problem reports and feature enhancement requests, patching or enhancing existing software, and to develop new tools and products. Other duties include communicating with the OS vendor, coordinate tasks and review changes made by contractors, and acting as a liaison to the customer support center.

Member of the Level III support team for customer problem incidents relating to NCR MP-RASUNIX and Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for Teradata systems. Primary responsibilities include root cause isolation, kernel dump analysis, interface to R&D forbug reports and patch releases to level I and II support and customers. Brought my knowledge of the Linux kernel and operating system environment into the support center and provided consulting and mentoring to support the new offering utilizing Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.
