McGrath, MS, CAC, has over 34 years of consulting and regulatory practice in the fields of industrial hygiene, environmental management, and litigation/expert witness support services.Moved to Colorado in 2007 from the San Francisco Bay Area where he served as a consultant for more than 18 years providing senior management for staff and projects involving asbestos, lead, PCBs, and other hazardous materials. These projects included hazardous material surveys, abatement planning, specifications development, and abatement monitoring.Co-authored two peer reviewed and published legal and technical journal articles on contemporary asbestos issues in 2007. These articles included information about U.S. EPA prosecution of violations based on non-binding asbestos polarized light microscopy (PLM) testing for the San Diego Law Review and the use of appropriate analytical methods for asbestos PLM testing for The Microscope Journal.
