Directed the development, refinement, and usage of proprietary IT systems for nearly 1,000 employees in the environmental service line of a nationwide consulting firm. In charge of rolling out and training all internal employees on the utilization of these IT platforms. Terracon created and maintained four main IT systems used to store, retrieve, transmit and manage environmental consulting data. At the time, said systems were known as: ARMS; TerraDocs; GIS Toolbox; and TerraTrack.Also in charge of directing and supporting the external training services for Terracon nationally. External training included the asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, health and safety, hazardous materials and hazardous waste training courses that were offered on an open enrollment and on-demand basis across the country. Has personally provided training to more than 2,500 people on various Occupational Safety and Health subjects over the years.

Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Responsible for the leadership, profitability and business development of a branch office. Provided industrial hygiene, environmental consulting and litigation support services for a variety of public and private clients, both nationally and internationally. Accountable for the professional growth and supervision of 14 employees. Acted as senior technical reviewer for all reports and proposals generated by the Denver office. Reported directly to the corporate executive committee while serving as a member of the company board of directors. IHI maintained a staff of more than 65 employees at five office locations in the western U.S. until acquired by Terracon Consultants, Inc. in 2012.

Lafayette, California

Employed by a building and environmental consulting firm that specialized in construction defects and occupational safety and health. More than half of the clientele were law firms seeking research, science, and expert witness testimony in support of their cases. Provided multifaceted forensic assistance to both defense and plaintiff attorneys for litigation in local, state and federal courts. Was actively engaged in the investigation, assessment, and control of microbial and biological contamination projects as well as comprehensive industrial hygiene work. Operated under the direct mentorship of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH).

Berkeley, California

Responsible for all aspects of business development, as well as providing “right-hand” assistance to the Laboratory Manager at a 16 employee analytical testing corporation. Proactively serviced existing laboratory customers while acquiring over 75 new clients during my first year. Created the content for and distributed various marketing literature pieces, such as company brochures, flyers, websites and print trade advertisements. Responded to all requests for information, proposals, price quotations and customer feedback. Coordinated and attended trade show exhibitions.

Emeryville, California

Technical supervisor and regulatory liaison for all asbestos and lead-related issues in a branch office of 12 employees. Provided authorship and updates of boilerplate report and proposal templates for all asbestos and lead projects. Training course director for both internal and external asbestos and lead training programs. Served as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) instrument coordinator for the office.
