As the director of OFN, I held responsibility for the management and growth of an organization specializing in the design of public outdoor spaces, including bus shelters.I actively led OFN's transformation into a leading player in an extremely traditional market, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation. During my tenure as director, I directly or indirectly supervised over 100 employees. My personal fulfillment came from strategy development and the ability to inspire and engage employees in our vision. Additionally, I placed significant emphasis on building and maintaining valuable customer, partner, and supplier relationships.Throughout my directorship, I spearheaded various critical initiatives, including a substantial reorganization, the development of several business cases for innovative projects, and preparing the organization for investments from a private equity partner.

I co-founded a start-up called Abel with two colleagues, with an initial investment of 3 million EUR. Abel is an innovative electric ride-sharing service for personal transportation, delivered through an advanced IT platform. This groundbreaking initiative was considered a serious competitor to industry leaders like Uber. My responsibilities began with the creation of the business plan and extended to the complete execution of the project. This included building and developing the brand, establishing operational activities, including onboarding 150 drivers, managing key stakeholders, and maintaining media relations. The ability to blend practical operational tasks with strategic innovation in a dynamic environment was a particularly stimulating aspect of my role.Abel is like a taxi, only you book a seat instead of the whole vehicle. Abel combine rides, resulting in far lower fares and a very social experience. On the road in Amsterdam since January 2016.

Masterthesis: Technology Push in Local Economic Development ProjectMy master's thesis involved an in-depth examination of the prospects for implementing a new technology called mobile bio-diesel in a low-income and underdeveloped area in Indonesia, specifically Kalimantan. The research focused on both technical and socio-economic factors, as they are crucial to the success of this project. This project provided insights into the intricacies of technological innovation within the context of local economic development and underscored the significance of a holistic approach in achieving sustainable positive outcomes.

During my board year, as part of a team of 5 students, I led a remarkable project that resulted in a 10-week research expedition to India. During this endeavor, 25 students conducted high-quality market research for a total of 11 companies.My responsibilities included:- Building and leading a team of 25 students;- Organizing and preparing the entire trip to India;- Effectively managing a budget of €110,000;- Providing substantial guidance to the students;- Holding ultimate responsibility for both the quality and timely completion of all research projects.Additionally, I acted as a researcher and was accountable for analyzing the cosmetics market on behalf of Mondial Cosmetics.This experience in a genuinely chaotic and emerging economy was transformative for me. It significantly enhanced my leadership qualities and organizational skills, highlighting my ability to successfully manage complex projects even in demanding environments. It provided me with the opportunity to harness my analytical skills while contributing to the success of businesses in an international context.
