    * Replaced the LIMS that I wrote in 1992/93 with the Element DataSystem LIMS to comply with new reporting requirements. * Designed and built a chemical inventory and MSDS tracking system resulting in more efficient chemical purchasing and compliance with fire marshal requirements,* Wrote the response to an Oregon state on-site evaluation. State auditors pleased with the clarity of the response, and the lab obtained state accreditation in 2002.Results: The upgraded LIMS system allowed the lab manager to take over the QA QC functions, resulting in elimination of one salaried position (mine), saving the company money. I would go on, later, to work for the company that makes that LIMS.

Results: LIMS system allowed company to convert a secretary position into a lab technician position, increasing profitability.
