I recently received my Ph.D. in Biosystems Engineering at Clemson University. My research focuses on promoting sustainability and environmental justice by working with local and underrepresented communities. I have experience implementing mixed methods approaches and participatory frameworks with a focus on environmental issues, water pollution, sensor development, and community engagement. I have worked in transdisciplinary teams and with different stakeholders. During my doctoral program, I had the opportunity to mentor undergraduate students from different programs in a research course, and I facilitated the adaptation process of new members in our research group. I expect to work with organizations that foster environmental justice in local populations.
