David Bahn is a follower of Jesus Christ, husband to Diane, father and grandfather. He served as a pastor in Lutheran churches in Utah, Colorado, Arkansas and Texas before retiring in 2021. He now helps churches with staffing and strategic planning on a part-time basis. David is an avid amateur photographer. He combines his photography with his Christian faith writing a weekday devotional blog: davidbahn-reflections.com.He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in 1979, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1991.He joins Diane, his wife, in her work with PLI, a ministry dedicated to multiplying missional leaders – something near and dear to both of their hearts. They have offered presentations on Marriage and Ministry Partnership, Missional Leadership, Changing Your Congregation’s Culture, and Missional Living, including presentations in Kenya (together) and the Philippines (Diane) for pastors and their wives, and Tanzania.David believes that Jesus’ gift of abundant life (John 10:10) is expressed in a life of love for God, life in community with others, and mission to the world. His mission is to "Lead people and churches toward realizing Jesus' plan and purpose for their lives."
