Since starting with the company back in 2020 I have been working with a small team on a system that helps states with unemployment benefits. We are a Microsoft shop which uses Azure to build and maintain a set of websites that states use for benefit management. My duties include all development from UI front to SQL backend. I have also been responsible for implementing a webservice interface with an external company that allows businesses and the state to communicate and provide benefit updates. I also provide technical support to the customer when they encounter issues or have special requests.

When I started with the company back in 2012 I was developing a web based application using Microsoft Silverlight, which allows users to perform scenario-based planning to aid in determining areas of concern and estimated costs when relocating or altering Navy assets. I Also helped develop and support an existing web application which is the official Navy system for reporting the condition and availability ratings of shore facilities. I also worked on a contract with Micron Technologies where we were helping them upgrade their internal applications from VB 6 to WPF with a web services back end. I helped develop everything from the UI to the back end database using SQL Server. For the last 1.5 years I was working on a website for the construction industry using MVC and TypeScript with a web service and SQL Server back end. I worked on every aspect of this product from front to back and helped with development of the mobile application using Xamarin Forms.

Created and supervised a WPF application with a RavenDB backend that tracks data for construction projects and interfaces with third party POS systems for material ordering. Conducted bi-weekly planning meetings to direct the design and architecture of the project. Also worked independently on a Window’s application that interfaces with USB hardware that records and stores multiple data points.

Maintained and created enterprise applications for a variety of customers using C#, ASP.NET and VB.NET. Coordinated with other remote team members to design, implement and test solutions with fixed budget and timelines for a variety of different companies.

Perform duties as the software engineer in the development of multiple governmental readiness reporting software systems, both classified and unclassified. Scheduled and conducted weekly and monthly meetings internally and externally to maintain direction and focus on the projects. Coordinated with remote teams to architect, design and implement a singular solution. Helped achieve ATO accreditation of an FOUO DoD readiness reporting application. Provided management of and recommendations for software evolution, staffing, programming technologies, QA, and project estimation.
