I have been in the steel slitting and service center business for 22 years. I am really looking for a chance to prove myself as a shift supervisor or assistant, working supervsor. I will do whatever it takes to do this, college course's , special training class's, and at my own expense if I have to. I am currently a Crew Leader/Lead Slitter Operator. Have extensive experience in slitting of various type metals and gauges. I also have plenty of experience in other areas of the steel business including warehousing, stockroom management, shipping and receiving. I am not afraid of doing hard work and getting dirty. Done it all my life, so it's not like I'm not used to it. I also have five , ten and fiftteen safety years awards. Specialties: Leading a crew on a Braner sixty inch steel slitting machine. Operation of slitter, setup of over and underarms, order setups of knives, banding and packaging of finished coils, overhead crane and tow motors. Use of micrometers and calipers, computers. I have just general computer experience, but also learn very quickly when it comes to learning new stuff.
