A passionate and committed ‘Head of Education and Welfare’ for Queens Park Rangers Football Club. Responsible for the complete planning and delivery of the Premier League and League Football Education ‘Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence’ Programme for players aged 16-18. Key focus addresses formal education and informal/life skills programme, accommodation, family and transport matters. Responsibility for the education and welfare of our U21 players and registered school boys affords significant attention. We are supporting the ‘EDS’ with a ‘Player Support Programme’. Senior management Responsibility involves regular ‘AMT’ meetings and some Technical Control Board attendance.Key links and partnerships have been established and developed. These include League Football Education, The FA and PFA, for our Informal Life skills Work and support for all academy players: Middlesex University for our School Release Programme and QPR Community Trust for many community and academy projects. This includes coaching football in Mumbai, India on the ‘Challenger and Talent’ Programme. Chair Person of a Football League Professional Forum consisting of seven professional clubs.

Previously a Faculty Manager for Wellbeing at a secondary school (with experience of ‘Assistant Principal’ responsibilities), Managing Departmental Leaders and subject specific teachers for Physical Education, Religious Education, Leisure and Tourism, Child Development, Food Technology, Personal, Health and Social Education. As part of the management team, regular meetings occurred for whole school progression. Academy Action Plans, Performance Management and Teaching and Learning Mentoring/Observation were key areas of the post.Head of PE, qualified Level 2 football coach involved with city and county FA’s and working for football clubs in their community and talent programmes. An 'Advanced Skills Teacher' with responsibility for working with primary and NQT teachers. An active involvement with a sports/educational and coaching organisations, delivering outreach and educational programmes in communities. Worked with LOCOG to develop and implement London 2012 Olympic educational and legacy work.Monitoring the delivery of PE and sport across the Faculty. Researching, planning and implementing an assessment system in PE. Mentoring undergraduate teachers’ from the University of Southampton. Regular consultation with School Sports Coordinator and local feeder schools. Coaching, preparing and training squads for extracurricular activities and regional tournaments. Mijas, Malaga, Spain

Responsible for coordinating, delivering, tutoring and teaching A Level Sport and Physical Education. Lead tutor for GCSE Sport Studies to 14-16 year olds, including assessing, moderating and standarding grades. All other key stages of PE were taught from 5 - 18 year olds.
