Project to identify ARH Tiger and MRH90 aircraft components as candidates for In-Country repair, considering a complex Through-Life-Support environment and effectively resolve conflicting factors. Working with Multinational supply and product support chains, identify, collect, and analyse data and liaise with Airbus Helicopters and NHI for the facilitation of identifying candidate components and establishing capabilities.Work with component OEMs, established in-country repair shops, and existing and potential AusAero repair capability owners, to determine the most expedient in-country repair options.

Provide on-site direction and leadership to the Aviation Logistics Department of the Frieda River Project, a greenfield copper-gold exploration project in Sandaun (West Sepik) and East Sepik Provinces in north-western Papua New Guinea.Major Accountabilities• Provide overall management of over 20 Logistics department personnel and processes, particularly with regards to adherence to Safety and mitigation of risk.• Safe oversight of all onsite Fixed-wing and Rotary-wing aviation operation for the Project area;• Deputy Operations Management of multiple camp sites and their respective personnel and infrastructure;• Responsible for management of importing, shipping and barge operations; • Safely oversee all staff and contractor travel to and from site;• Development and management of a departmental strategic plan, and• Reporting on all Aviation Logistics activities.
