Most of my experience here was as a math teacher for grades 4 and 5 but also taught all other academic subjects.During the 2020-2021 school year, was a part of a two-person team that achieved the highest pass rate of any other third grade team in Alachua County and among the top 9% of third grade teams in the state.During the 2018-2019 school year, was selected by Khan Academy in Mountain View, CA to be a Khan Academy ambassador for Alachua County schools.During the 2016-2017 school year, 91% of 35 students (19 fourth graders and 16 fifth graders) made a years worth of learning gains on the FSA (mathematics). This was the third highest mathematics learning gains percentage in the state of Florida and the highest in Alachua County.

Teach the NGSSS to seventh grade math students and advanced sixth grade math students at Howard Bishop Middle School .During the 2013-2014 school year, 66% of students made a years worth of learning gains on the FCAT 2.0 in mathematics. The large majority of these students were level ones and twos when they started the school year. Additionally, these classes included almost all of the school's "lowest third" of math performers. 70% of these students in the "lowest third" made a years worth of learning gains.

Teach the NGSSS math standards to eighth grade students at North Marion Middle School.During the 2011-2012 school year, 71.2% of 120+ students made a years worth of learning gains on the mathematics portion of the FCAT 2.0. These students had the most FCAT gains than any students of any other teacher at the school. A large majority of these students were level twos or threes at the beginning of the year.
