Ingrained agile mindset, from waterfall, into team and managers at organization to begin transition to Scrum. Helped lead development team and web team through Scrum process to release new web import application. After pushing web import app to production, we continually looked for improvements. After changing how the team organizes the backlog and how they pull things into sprints, we reduced significant dependencies and bottlenecks that resulted in improved team productivity. Everyday responsibilities included:• Educate/coach key members in Operations on what it means to be agile and implement agile approach to software development, transitioning teams from “waterfall” to agile• Facilitate agile meetings • Communicate frequently with development team• Make sure open communication and understanding exists between developers and Product Owner• Tested when features were ready for testing• Help identify impediments and/or improvements and help team come to solution to be implemented

Dealt with issues that came in by either fixing myself, or delegating to developers that had deeper understanding and ability. Also, verified data for mailings to make sure correct before mailing to donors.It was in this time that the lead architect of the development team asked me to be the Scrum Master and help transform to Scrum. I gained my CSM, learned the Scrum Master role and began that journey.
