My current duties as Chief of Police for the Village of Shorewood are: Responsible for all crime apprehension, crime prevention and community policing activities in the Village of Shorewood Financial management of police department during significant economic downturn which include proactive approach to identifying and implementing efficiencies while maintaining effectiveness Developed and implemented strategic plan to match the vision plan of the Village of Shorewood, to include establishment of a new rank structure and empowering sergeants to work on problem oriented policing solutions with a team of officers. Create positive relationship throughout the State of Wisconsin by being active in organizations and civic groups Create positive and supportive open door relationship through proactive dialogue at all levels of the organization Responsible for a staff of 32 FTE’s Work with fellow Department Heads and the Village Manager to enhance the Village of Shorewood through cooperation and strategic planning Responsible for maintaining all department personnel records Village of Shorewood Computer AdministratorMy current staff consists of 25 sworn police officers who provide police services and protection twenty-four hours a day – 365 days a year.
