Serves as the SMC Manager for the resident's course at the United States Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA); advises the Curriculum Development and Education (CD&E) Sergeant Major on relevant issues to the course; supervises changes to curriculum and ensures the currency, relevance and adaptation of operational and educational requirements; expedites, recommends and implements changes to the program of instruction (POI); sustains accreditation delivery to the Army’s professional military education and civilian degree-recognition programs through coordination with the CD&E SGM, the Director of Education, and the Army Continuing Education Program; manages and integrates four Government Service (GS) employees with maintenance, assessments and coordination updates.

Secures all the exams for the Basic Leader Course, Battle Staff for NCOs Course, the Advanced Leader and the Senior Leader Course Common Core, and the United States Army Sergeants Major Course. Verifies the validity, currency, and the administration of every test at the United States Academy. Orders, receives, and manages test materials. Maintains, updates, and disposes of examinations.

Develops, analyzes, and reviews all curriculum for the upcoming Master Leaders Course in the whole United States Army; Ensure relevance of all lessons and certify the instructors.

Serves as the Battalion Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander for a 406-Soldier M119 and M777-equipped Field Artillery Battalion in direct support of the 3d IBCT, 1st Armored Division; responsible for the professional development of all Noncommissioned Officers and Soldiers; advises the Commander on the morale, esprit de corps, and the overall readiness of the Battalion; enforces policies and standards of Soldier performance, training, appearance, and conduct; assigns and manages all Field Artillery and Fire Support Military Occupancy Specialties of enlisted personnel within the BCT; assists, advises, and initiates recommendations to the Commander and Staff. Currently deployed in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
