David Barnard, CFA, Consulting ExecutiveDavid Barnard has more than 30 years of finance, investment and operating experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. He is a senior vice president LHA Investor Relations, a division of Alliance Advisors, where he has led investor relations programs for over 30 client companies. He was part of the production effort behind Baja (movie), a road trip comedy released theatrically via AMC April 2018. He was chief financial officer for Edge Media Inc., an internet startup. He was senior vice president of research for Morrison & Frazier LLC, a San Francisco bay area money manager, where he served as co-portfolio manager and equity analyst. Earlier in his career, he was business and strategic planning manager at the University of California, Office of the President, and a contracts agent at Bechtel Corporation. Mr. Barnard earned his MBA in finance from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, and his B.M. with distinction in Jazz Studies from Indiana University, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). David and his wife Denise are active in dog rescue and have fostered and placed over 150 dogs from high-kill shelters in recent years. He remains active in creative endeavors as a trombone player and aspiring screenwriter. Managing The Barnard Family Charitable Trust, he is a strong financial supporter of South County Animal Rescue, Lucia's K9 Rescue, Monterey Jazz Festival, City Ballet of San Diego, among other organizations.
