Edscencio has been set up by senior leaders from commerce, accountancy and banking, with extensive experience of the higher education and further education sectors. Our objective is to provide senior level advice to our clients undertaking transactions (including reorganisations and mergers) through analysis and proactive stakeholder management (regulators, banks, other institutions, commercial companies, and other advisors and consultancies). Our primary aim is to help deliver sustainable outcomes for clients in collaboration with their key stakeholders, minimizing transaction risks and avoiding unnecessary costs.

London based audit partner, elected member of the Partnership Oversight Board, responsible for the governance of the firm, Head of the Education Sector from 2007 to 2015. Audit clients included a top thirty charity, a wide range of universities, including large research based institutions through to new universities and performing arts conservatoires, FE colleges, independent schools and academies. I have also had responsibility as audit partner for a number of pension schemes for over twenty years, including a number of multi billion pound defined benefit schemes.

I was an audit partner with a wide range of audit clients, including construction companies, manufacturing companies, healthcare, telecommunications and education institutions, including universities and further education colleges. I was also an elected member of the firm's Supervisory Board, responsible for the governance of the firm and was Chair of this Board through the time of the firm's merger with Grant Thornton.
