London based audit partner, elected member of the Partnership Oversight Board, responsible for the governance of the firm, Head of the Education Sector from 2007 to 2015. Audit clients included a top thirty charity, a wide range of universities, including large research based institutions through to new universities and performing arts conservatoires, FE colleges, independent schools and academies. I have also had responsibility as audit partner for a number of pension schemes for over twenty years, including a number of multi billion pound defined benefit schemes.

I was also an elected member of the firm's Supervisory Board, responsible for the governance of the firm and was Chair of this Board through the time of the firm's merger with Grant Thornton.
