Developed a web farm management system so customers could manage individual IIS servers and farms using an intuitive GUI rather than scripting solutions. Customers could also use the tool as a means to monitor their farms by watching updated snapshots of each portal within their respective farm.Enhanced the companies Work Order, Software Update, Software Hot Fix and Software Release applications to enable customers to upgrade their distributed LaborWorkx system from a single machine on their network rather than having to go to each machine to install upgrades. This included the detection and stopping of services along with starting the services after upgrades to minimize demands on the customer when upgrading api's LaborWorkx® software.Refactored the companies ad hoc distribution tools into a common framework for code reusability and minimize future maintenance and upgrades.Implemented modifications to the LaborWorkx framework to ensure changes in the database model would be properly reflected. Api Software, Inc. created a custom data storage model in their framework, rather than using Microsoft's ADO Data Set, Data Table, etc., to minimize memory usage and implement a custom caching scheme.Proficient in the use of Perforce, Araxis Merge, and XML Spy.
