Primary responsibility of my role is to provide HR support and guidance across the whole workforce arena. This includes organisational change, HR policy work, and being the People Lead on the introduction of the Sexual Safety Charter.The trust previous participated in two mental health international recruitment pilot programmes, and my role was also to support delivery.

Assurance meetings and data reports were a necessity, alongside target setting and highlighting risks and mitigations.I led on several task and finish groups, including two mental health IR nursing pilot programmes, the delivery of an OET English Language programme, and projects focussed on creating legacy documents and resources. I supported in the delivery of a Refugee jobs fair which involved liaising with prospective employers and government stakeholders. I was particularly proud of hosting workforce forums which allowed trusts to receive NHSE updates, share best practice, and challenge each other on solutions. This would influence how much money a trust would be awarded. Feedback and actions from this review influenced the agreed target hires and how much investment NHSE would be willing to provide to a trust.I led on IR projects and resources that supported programme legacy, including documentation that would be shared on Future NHS. I co-ordinated regular webinars (Spotlight sessions) which the national team hosted and where we would share programme updates and best practice. With the increasing focus on retention, I was asked to represent NHSE in International Nursing and Midwifery Association meetings, and support in the co-ordination of their fellowship programmes.
