I was employed as a Senior Electrical Engineer with the buildings team, working on TAP (transport Access programme) projects. My role within the project team is an Electrical Design Manager who coordinates all aspects of the electrical disciplines as well as Mechanical and Hydraulics services within the rail project, to provide a unified services solution to other disciplines within Arcadis and the external client. I am also mentoring junior Electrical Engineers in TAP projects to provide diversity within the team. The role was created following involvement in lessons learned exercise for a previous round of TAP projects lessons learned exercise that it was excessively hard to find responses to challenges within individual members in the project. This role has improved the service to our clients and already received great feedback. I am currently working on TAP3 projects which is the installation of lifts into Warrawee station and Hawkesbury Station which are SDR stage – Gateway 2, and TAP3.3 projects which are the lift installation at Banksia & Roseville Stations and I am actively involved with the concept stages to provide design information for pricing. I have assisted in the resolving issues construction stage of Emu Plains, Kingswood & North Strathfield stations which were the previous round of TAP within Arcadis. I have also been accredited with EAO expert level for LV and lighting systems on Transport Projects.
