A long-standing passion for weather and research, I share and encourage innovative thinking across the severe weather resilience and operations sector, both domestically and globally. I help to drive up standards and knowledge transfer through applied research and best practice.An acknowledged subject matter expert, my role is to widen the narrative around severe weather to better encompass all seasons hazards, beyond winter snow and ice. Challenging current conventions, I play a key part in developing innovative approaches, through disruptive interventions and stretching R&D. I have the experience to lead and work with high performance project and research teams to ensure severe weather impacts, as well as transport infrastructure resilience, I continue to be at the very leading edge of international severe weather research, emerging weather analytics and data fusion technologies.
