Annual sales exceeded $14.3 Billion at this activity of 2,900 personnel. Executed supply chain strategic planning, acquisition and distribution of food, clothing, textiles, construction material and equipment, medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and industrial hardware to meet military readiness and peacetime requirements worldwide. Identified 137 new business opportunities generating $288 Million in revenue while decreasing lead times to customers by 80 days.

Kuwait

Led 48 personnel synchronizing multi-modal resources to maximize distribution and optimize supply chains throughout the middle east. Value chain creation supporting deployed United States forces. Synchronized the flow of 7,534 frustrated trucks stranded in Karachi, Pakistan headed into Afghanistan when the borders were reopened after 220 days. Coordinated 21 distinct approaches for testing the most efficient/effective flow of equipment and supplies into and out of Afghanistan.

Navy and Marine Corps Procurement Executive, Competition Advocate General, and Standardization Executive. Represented the Secretary of the Navy on all matters related to naval acquisition programs. Provided oversight to all acquisition and acquisition logistics efforts exceeding $95 Billion annually. Developed the policy for energy efficiency evaluation criteria for source selections. Instituted the strategy to prevent counterfeit material from entering the supply chain.

Managed all facets of Navy Fleet and ashore readiness, supply chains, maintenance, training, safety and environmental considerations. Led 648 personnel responsible for $736,000 operating budget controlling $9.3 Billion Fleet Readiness accounts. Developed the mitigation plan for a $484 Million fiscal year shortfall. Led the commissioning ceremony for USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN 77) - a presidential level event.

Led 2,025 personnel providing supply chain and services support to afloat units and 39 operating locations throughout the eastern US. Cultivated supply solutions in eight hazardous material operations and eight postal operations in meeting the business needs of customers. Reduced warehouse footprint over 400,000 sq ft and downsized 177 storage sites/7.2 million sq ft footprint while maintaining the highest levels of inventory accuracy for 32,000 line items.

Norfolk, Virginia

Led 27 international officers transforming and standardizing supply chain information management systems and transportation procedures and capabilities. Chaired the NATO Asset Tracking Working Group and the NATO Supply Chain Coordination Board developing standards for interoperability. Delivered the first Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)-based asset tracking capability into Afghanistan. Prototyped and supported fielding five portable water bottling facilities in Afghanistan significantly reducing the requirement for strategic lift and force protection of water truck convoys.
