Responsible for program management of Lynx largest design win for the operating system environment used by the Lockheed Martin, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Program management responsibilities spanned Software Development, Safety Certification (DO-178C), and Software Quality Assurance across multiple teams. Lynx successfully delivered all requirements and the first F-35 TR3 test flight took place on January 6, 2023. Each response focused on the solution, initial project planning (schedule, tasks, milestones), collaboration with engineering on work estimates, and legal/contract/Ts & Cs review. My engagement approach emphasizes accurate assessment of internal risks, gaps and work estimates in order to consistently guide the structure of the proposed solution and the delivered response. Collaborated with multiple teams including; field/sales, engineering, program management, legal/contracts, and finance. Operations and FulfillmentEnsured product delivery and fulfillment through SalesForce maintenance (part numbers, price and price book, Bill of Materials), FlexLM license management, and continuing field/sales team support. Following company acquisition in July 2022, Operation activities were expanded to support new business models and physical and electronic-only delivery models along with extensive product license review and updates in collaboration with the legal team.

Responsible for the definition, communication, and management of software solutions for Xilinx Zynq SoCs focused on advanced system architectures addressing high performance, safety, and security.Solution Planning and Product Management Planned key system software elements for Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC and Versal devices including: Linux, bare-metal, AMP, hypervisors, Arm Trusted Firmware, and Trusted Execution Environment. Worked with customers to understand their system needs, translate into product requirements and to describe how Xilinx could meet their needs. Worked with the field, software engineering and applications teams, and 3rd parties to define real-world achievable solutions based around viable technologies and schedules. With Virtutech, later acquired by Wind River, I managed model roadmap for Simics full-system simulator for software development, integration and test of processors, boards and full systems. The Simics Model LIbrary include full Virtual Platforms, System On Chip, ASIC, Processor cores/Instruction Set Simulators, Network Switches, IO devices and interfaces.

At Jaluna, later renamed "VirtualLogix", I served as technical product manager for "VLX" Real-time hypervisor for performance critical designs on ARM, Cavium, PowerPC, Intel and TI DSP. Responsible for product requirements definition, technical communications, delivery commitments and road map creation. Dotted-line management of five separate engineering teams and project managers. Actively contributed to hypervisor architecture design. Communicated description, architecture, use-cases, performance and limitations to field, customers and silicon licensees.

Product responsibility for Metrowerks Linux tools (acquired from Lineo) including BSPs, configuration, debug, cross compile, and OSS license issues. Dotted-line management of global engineering teams to ensure that product deliveries and company strategy and road map were executed.

Through the evolution of this company, I held several roles related to technical product management, product marketing, and technical support.Technical Marketing and product management of "Zentropix Software Suite" real-time Linux, Ada debug tools, and Reflective Memory products primarily for the military simulation market.Responsibility for "Embedix" embedded Linux software development kits, dual-kernel Linux solutions, Board Support Packages, and vertical stack solutions.

Managed the company's largest and most complex contract ($1.8M), including all software, analog, computing, DSP, custom mechanical, and acceptance testing. Performed well ahead of schedule and under budget.

Program Manager and Test Engineer for Low cost 2.4 GHz wireless spread spectrum subsystems for burglar alarms, smoke detectors, power meters and industrial control points.Responsible to ensure communications with customer, interface with engineering, compliance with customer requirements, test procedures, and attention to issues related to mass volume manufacturability. The products were low cost, low power transmitters, receivers, and transceivers for markets such as smoke/fire and burgler alarms, electric power meter monitoring.

RF Systems engineer for Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM): 100 MHz - 26 GHz electronic environment simulators for test and validation of electronic warfare systems on aircraft and ships.
