Two examples include:Project manager for strategic sourcing and procurement organization re-design for a $26B entertainment company (The Walt Disney Company)Led team of 15 consultants responsible for assessing, designing and implementing a new Strategic Sourcing organization for the company. Project scope included 11 different business units with total annual spend in excess of $6B. The daily delivery program was the result of a larger re-engineering project that reduced inventory levels by over $30M and provided a more streamlined and efficient inventory delivery system.Other Key Accomplishments Included:Implemented a Corporate Procurement Card program consisting of 2,500 cards which resulted in overall savings of $1M. Developed detailed policy and procedures to govern the use of Procurement Cards by company employees.Responsible for establishing optimal inventory levels across 3,000 commonly used inventory items.Participated on strategic sourcing teams resulting in annual savings in excess of $5M across Plastic Pipe, Steel Pipe and Work Uniforms commodities.

In my role as Production Manager, I was responsible for leading a team of 25 employees responsible for building the aft fuselage of the C-17 Military Cargo Aircraft. My team worked on the first 10 C-17 cargo planes delivered to the United States Air Force. My team was recognized on numerous occasions for our attention to detail and our ability to deliver our section portion of the aircraft on-time and under budget.In my role as Industrial Engineering Manager, I supervised a team of 8 engineers responsible for developing processes and labor standards to most efficiently construct the C-17 aircraft.

The activity based analysis employed a number of industrial engineering techniques such as motion and time study, work balancing and process mapping. My areas of focus included base hospitals, law enforcement offices and flight line operations. The main mission was to determine the optimal amount of man-hours needed to support operations by developing labor standards that could be reviewed and validated each year.
