Being used as a lecturer taking students through the Nebosh General Certificate (Lead Tutor), IOSH Managing Safely course and the IOSH Working Safely Course These courses are run over 10, 4 and 1 day respectively. • Delivered operational supervision and manpower utilisation for multiple personnel• Excellent computer skills• Strong leadership, man management, motivational and team skills • Implementation of a Health & Safety structure into two businesses that previously did not have any structure in place.• Implementation of a training program for a site of Approx. 350 people• Responsibly for the reduction of accidents after training had been completed Being used as an assessor to take people through the City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health & safety. I also am also an examiner for Nebosh marking all 3 elements of the General certificate. . Ensured strict compliance with health and safety legislation within businesses.Responsibilities:-• Health & Safety induction training• Abrasive wheel training• Manual Handling training• Fork lift truck training• Office Safety trainingAs well as the above I am also responsible for carrying out Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Accident Investigations and Health & Safety Monitoring.There is also the responsibility of chairing Health & Safety committee meetings and communicating the information to all those employed on a site employing approx. 350 people I have also set up Health & Safety systems from scratch at two of our satellite companies in Redditch and Birmingham Achievements included: -Putting in place a structured training program for the whole site Approx.350 people.Winning an award for innovative training with a local Health & Safety body.Reduction of accidents after the implementation of training.
