• Created the Software Configuration Management (SCM) policies and procedures for the Altiris Deployment Server product including many stand-alone products and sub-products with their own release schedules.• Automated all of the Build and Release processes for these products using PERL and Python scripting.• Created complex installations for these powerful network management tools, both EXEs and MSIs.• Set-up, created, and administered the revision-control servers and source-code repositories for all these products.• Managed and performed all of the versioning, branching, and merging of the development source code and builds for all releases and hot-fixes.• Trained software developers on the "best practices" and proper use of these revision-control systems.• Set up the build machines and produced daily builds to be tested by the testing team.• Interacted extensively with the testing team and developers to identify the cause and nature of bugs introduced by the developers in the daily builds.• Responded with flexibility to requests by management and developers to make special changes and experimental builds to help them diagnose bugs and explore possibilities for improvement.• Organized and administered the archiving and backing-up of all builds and releases.• Established and administered a "common source-code library" for all code shared by the development teams. • Member of expert-level technical support team providing 24 hour highest-level technical support to thousands of physicians, nurses, clinicians, business-office staff, and hospital staff who used the HELP Clinical Expert System at IHC’s seven largest hospitals and many clinics. The HELP system was a multi-user TANDEM based system developed internally at IHC. The hospitals and clinics were connected in a Wide Area Network.• Created a pulmonary diagnostic expert system for my Masters Degree using this HELP system.
