An enthusiastic and professional Senior Site Manager (Construction) with extensive Finishing Management and Building Services Manager experience. I have had an extensive career in the Royal Navy and over 7 years within Construction and Infrastructure industry involved in multi-million-pound projects including high profile Major Projects. Currently working as a Senior Site Manager for a National Construction Company providing support and input to the operational solutions through, Pre-construction, Contract awards, Design and Construction phases, Commissioning, Handover & Aftercare, while maintaining company procedures and industry standards at all times. Providing support and advice assessing processes and equipment and build-ability of proposed solutions. Providing technical, commercial support to procurement teams in quotation evaluation and pre-contract award processes, site management as well as coordinating, and management of all subcontractors, overseeing all aspects of the build including commissioning, handover, defect rectification and aftercare. An effective problem solver who craves a challenge using my own initiative to achieve results, whilst at all times observing critical safety aspects, skilled at applying lessons learned, I strive towards continuous improvement. I demonstrate good organisational and people management skills whilst I am not afraid to work outside my comfort zone. Possessing a breadth of expertise covering many aspects of building, engineering, ensuring efficient operations at both technical and managerial level.I have reviewed and implemented safe systems of work for all site activities, including health and safety risk assessments and method statements, whilst promoting to staff and subcontractors a safety and environmentally conscious culture. I have produced, compiled and managed the compiling of documentation/ reports for issue to external agencies where there is a requirement to demonstrate compliance.
