Chief Investment Officer of a mid-sized super industry super fund (approx. AUD10.5b aum.). An active member of the Executive team, and in frequent communication with the Board and the broader business. Direct responsibility for development of team, capability, investment operations and processes as the business moved from a consultant-led approach to an internally-led model. The team internalised asset allocation and implemented through fund managers. A TPA-style (total portfolio approach) was adopted including the reconfiguration of the firm’s investment operating structure to allow greater flexibility and a more precise portfolio construction. Established and oversaw the retirement solutions function which conceptually developed a range of advanced product and retirement solutions.

Designed and taught the Hedge Funds elective for the Master of Applied Finance.

Independent consultant on a range of investment related activities including alternative assets, risk and portfolio management, asset allocation, and retirement outcome modelling.
