When I first arrive at work at 15:45PM Est I make sure to inspect the security vehicle I will be driving on property that day and give our guard house the starting mileage on the vehicle, as well as gain info on what incidents and equipment is out/occurred on the last shift.After finishing vehicle inspection, I stay in 1 of 2 zones on the property and complete on foot patrols of checkpoints that include golf storage, apartments, and recreational areas. I'll also respond to medical calls along with a variety of others that occur with residents on property and meet medical personnel, law enforcement, and the Fire Department on sight of wherever the emergency occurs and take notes on what happened. After getting a detailed description of what happened, I head back to our security office to write a report of the incident, Afterwards I will drop off a copy of the report to our dispatching guard house.At the end of each shift I'll refuel and perform maintenance on the vehicle I was driving for the next shift that comes in at 23:45PM Est. After that I will write down in a pass down book everything that occurred on my shift for the upcoming shift as well.
