Waters Golden manufactures analytical standards and reagents in support of their line of analytical instruments. My primary role is supporting the facility as a project management and secondary is analytical verification of the products our company manufactures.

Manage all aspects of a 10,000 person running endurance event

Event Management contractor for endurance events (running and triathlon events). My clients include Magnolia, Ironman, Competitor Group, Lifetime Fitness, Capital Sports Ventures, Boulder Marathon.I perform an array of roles, from contract event management, permitting and planning to sponsorship sales and community relations. I perform these contracts in my spare-time outside my normal workday.Events LLC also produces one of Colorado's larges philanthropic running events, the Louisville Turkey Trot, which has raised over $100,000 and tons of food for Community Food Share.

Competitor Group owned Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, Women's Half Marathon Series, TriRock (triathlon) Series, Muddy Buddy (themed obstacle event), VeloNews, VeloPress, Triathlete Magazine, Competitor MagazineOperations Director 2012 – December 2016My role as the Operations Director was to organize and manage the permitting and logistics for the events. This would include negotiate City contracts and services, coordinate police, traffic control, community relations, communication, medical and security, parking and transportation plans for events. Assign and supervise personnel for the event.Operations Contractor 2002 - 2012Prior to joining the Competitor Group as a full-time employee, I performed similar duties as an independent contractor.

I fell into the event management world while competing as a professional triathlete. I was given the operations manual and mentored by the Xterra Off-Road Triathlon team. It is with this first event they helped me develop a new career and expand my project management skill set. I set off to develop, organize, promote, and manage events and projects such as triathlons, mountain bike races, running, road cycling, swimming events and even weddings. I learned about and led the marketing and sales responsibilities, managed event personnel and a medical services team. I was responsible for all aspects of daily business operations, including accounting and budget management, community relations, contract management, purchasing, and inventory control, and employee relations. I managed vendor contracts, negotiated with governmental agencies regarding land/water use, traffic and safety, water safety, and medical and communication plans.

Managed environmental permitting for Pima County DOT construction projects. Prior to moving to PDOT, Managed and performed wastewater treatment facility required analytical monitoring.

Maintained facility environmental permits and water use monitoring. Worked with facilities to reduce water and waste for Arizona manufacturing facilities.

Managed compliance testing for the environmental laboratory. Performed drinking water, stormwater, RCRA, UST / LUST, and wastewater analyses in support of client regulatory compliance.
