I graduated with first-class Honors from Software Engineering at the University of Edinburgh in 2010.After the successful studies I worked as a Systems Analyst at Igos Consulting until 2015. During this time I participated on many ICT projects in both public and private sectors. The main focus of the projects consisted of performing a thorough analysis of the clients' ICT architecture and its integration with the business, followed by a roadmap of recommended optimalization procedures. In 2015 I was offered the Chief Information Officer position in Omnipol company. Based on the nature of the business that Omnipol is dedicated to, it was necessary to refine the computer security to a whole new level. Other key goals and challenges have been focused on implementing ICT technologies and concepts that enabled the business to grow and provide important competitive advantages. In this regard, I was responsible for the implementation and integration of a new ERP system, Business Process Management, Project Collaboration software, Document Management System, HR system and Business Intelligence to name a few. Since Omnipol group is composed of several companies, another significant objective has been to gradually consolidate the ICT architectures and services across the individual companies into a unified environment, creating the concept of an internal "private cloud". In 2018 Omnipol acquired Mesit, a holding of 7 companies with 800 employees. I have been a member of the post-acquisition team, where my responsibility was to perform an internal audit of the whole ICT environment and restructure it in accordance to the needs of the holding. One of the necessary first steps was to centralize the ICT teams and architectures among the individual Mesit companies. Once this was successfully accomplished, I could initiate the integration of Mesit with the group's private cloud. These actions enabled every single holding company to maximize the potential gains from the consolidated ICT environment of the whole group. The implementation and consolidation of ICT technologies is continually happening at all layers of ICT from hardware, networking, cyber security to software being used across the holding.
