After Clearwire was purchased by Sprint, I worked in Technology Development supporting backhaul designs for various RAN technologies such as Carrier Aggregation and MIMO. I managed a team of 5 engineers as we ensured backhaul and transport designs delivered from Network Development were functional, scalable and manageable in the next generation Sprint network.

At Clearwire I had more than my share of fun managing vendors, testing designs and products, implementing changes on the operating network, and driving projects to completion. I helped design, validate and deliver the layer 2 transport network and the software which allowed sites to be automagically provisioned. During my tenure I held multiple positions ranging from System Test and Integration Engineer to Director of Network Engineering. My last role was as a manager on the End to End Validation Team. My team tested the transport and backhaul solutions and supported the implementation and first office application of those solutions into Clearwire's operating network.I was heavily involved with architecture, design, testing and implementation of, for, and into the WiMAX and LTE networks generally focused upon layers 1 - 3 in the transport and management of the network.
