David has over 25 years of experience as a business and legal advisor. From 2013 through 2023 David served in multiple roles of increasing responsibility at Tandem Diabetes Care, where he established the company's legal and compliance function, managed its intellectual property strategy, and led the negotiation of complex collaborations and licensing agreements. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Tandem Diabetes Care, where he managed teams across clinical, regulatory, quality and operations functions, and guided the regulatory and clinical strategy for multiple first-in-class, interoperable medical devices. Before Tandem, David was a legal advisor and General Counsel to several public multi-national and private venture-backed, emerging growth companies, including in-house roles at Senomyx, Biosite, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals. David received his bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkeley, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School.
