Scharfstein is Chile’s leading importer of telecom, intercom and parking control solutionsMain achievements: Identified and developed new commercial opportunities which led to an 81% increment in sales for years 2013-2016 vs 2009-2012. Established a competitive model for after sales services, which allowed a 300% increment in revenues in that segment. Turned the Division into the most important unit in the Company, with a contribution of 36% of total revenues in 2013-2016 vs 23% in 2009-2012. Parking & Automation Division is the only Business Unit that doesn’t report to the Commercial Manager of Scharfstein. Won biggest tender in the company’s history, which included travelling with the customer to the factory in Japan. Trips to international parking fair in Amsterdam.

Isener is Chile’s leading provider of renewable energy solutions for residential and industrial applicationsMain achievements: Opened new distribution channels, developing partnerships with utilities and construction companies to increase Isener’s penetration in the residential segment, achieving 50+% sales growth and significant enhancing client portfolio diversification. Identified unmet renewable energy needs in Chile’s US$50b mining industry, sourced for the required technology internationally and secured exclusive distribution rights from vendors.

LAN Airlines is Latin America’s biggest carrier and the world’s 5th most profitable airline.Main achievements: Developed commercial strategy for LAN’s corporate travel online business for Chile, Argentina, Peru and the USA. Led implementation of commercial strategy in Chile, achieving 240% sales growth in 3 years and building LAN.com into Chile’s top direct corporate sales channel. Conducted program to migrate existing corporate clients to an online ordering platform, freeing up sales resources to develop new clients and increasing overall LAN corporate accounts revenue. Devised online-offline collaboration framework that diffused inter-channel conflict and facilitated the program´s successful implementation.

Norske Skog, a Norwegian corporation, is one of the world´s biggest newsprint and telephone directory paper (TDP) companies, with presence in more than 40 countries worldwideMain achievements: Led commercial efforts for TDP, newsprint and specialty papers produced in Chile, opening new markets in North & Central America and strengthening sales in the business’ core markets (South America & Spain). Developed commercial strategy that turned around sales in a depressed market, preventing the shutdown of a key production-line.

CMPC is a chilean US$10b mkt cap Pulp & Paper multinational with presence in 7 Latin American marketsMain achievements: Led Boxboard business development efforts, acting as Export Manager for Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, achieving 80% increase in annual sales. Managed corrugated paper product-line and led the development of 3 new specialty products that allowed CMPC to secure its plant’s business continuity. Managed planning and operational budgeting for Chile’s corrugated paper business, with US$ 18 million in annual sales. Conducted project evaluation and developed a business case for approval of a US$110M production-line. Led information gathering and analysis to support the company in a high-stakes dumping case that threatened its Brazilian operations.
